Sara,
an epitome of Goddess Durga in her real life has been blessed
with a voice, which entrances the ears of the audience.
She was born to a Bengali family where the passion for music
was inborn. The childhood influence of Classical music/
Rabindrasangeet /Nazrulgeeti ignited in her a fervor to
pursue a career in music. She started her groundwork at
the age of seven. She was a devoted disciple of music legends
like Late Shri Jamini Gangopadhyay and Shri Santosh Kumar
Mukhopadhyay in the field of classical music. She is still
a regular trainee of Smt Swastika Mukhopadhyay, Chief of
Sangeet Bhawan, Vishwa Bharati. She earned the prestigious
Sangeet Visharad in Classical Vocal with a distinction.

Bhattacharya and eminent vocalist Subhra Guha, at the inaugural
occasion of Sangeet Ashram at G.D. Birla Sabhaghar.

audio album on selected Tagore Songs entitled “Shey
Ashibey’’ distributed through leading music
stores in Kolkata
