We at ‘crazy cousins’ believe that being crazy is being “us”. Our craze is about music, of course, but we have severe friends and well wishers, who feel that being crazy is being “alive”. We welcome all to cherish and celebrate the wonderful crazyness that makes each one of “us” unique and this life beautiful.
The “Crazy Cousin” Story
We are music struck. Our aim is to be multilingual in the fullest sense of the term. We also believe, that like bloodline, music too creates a stecial ‘tie” that is why we are “cousins”----- crazy cousins
We Differ

Music - Our music is a variation of different genre.

Language - As said we are multilingual which means different languange for example english, hindi, bengali, spanish, etc.

Composition - We basically do original compositions but depending upon audience we also do cover tracks also.
In Our Pocket
Currently we are in our process to cut an album in the year 2006. Its an album consisting of original songs written by the band and composed the band itself.

She is a true genious in all sense. She runs a ngo named “chhaya” along with her own brother and sisters. Formed a band with her cousins’ and “we” named it….”crazy cousins”.

Sona Malik

Lead Vocal/ Backing Vocals

Born on 3rd day of November she is an amazing singer with avery melodious voice.With a golden heart and voice she can bring joy to everyone’s heart. She is student of pt.ajay chakraborty for many years. Also a versatile singer as her sister “roopa”.

Jay Bhattacharya

Drummer Percussion Guitar

Born on 9th day of February At the age of 3 he struck the tabla like a professional. A true musician from heart. Played with many mestros in the country.We all call him “tutul” with love.

Dibyendu Mukherji

Lead vocals/Harmony Guitar/Percussion Bass Guitar

Born on 24th day of january. A lion hearted singer for the band. Can play various instruments.
Compose songs for the band. He is one who can sing in english, spanish, bengali, hindi You really have to hear him and see him before asking questions within.

Subhrodip Bhowmick

Born on 10th day of April. Crazy cousin – “he is a wonderful singer and he take care of the 8 crazy babies in the group as well. Jokes apart he is the manager of the band. His voice reminds us of the legendkishore kumar.

Sayantan Bhowmick

born on 6th day of May. “The most humorous and witty among the cousins’. He is a disciple of indian classical singer jayanta bose. Apart from being a classically trained singer his adaptability towards mordern music is worth mentioning.
