Hotel Registration FAQ

Special Note : NABC 2006 organizing committee has block booked the venue hotel for the three days of the event. All registrants have to book through the NABC system to get the great negotiated rate for the venue hotel. We strongly recommend registration and Hotel booking at the same time. Booking the hotel (by calling the hotel directly) and not registering will lead to hotel cancellation.
H1. Can I get the venue Hotel if we register now?
Yes. At this time Hilton America the venue hotel is totally sold out for all categories below Grand Donor level. A few rooms are available for registrants who will register in categories Grand Donor and above. Please act fast as rooms are available on a first come first served basis.
H2. I have already registered and requested for hotel. Why didn't I get my Hotel confirmation yet?

If you have done your booking through NABC2006, your room is confirmed in the venue hotel, through the block booking done by NABC. The physical allocation of the room (like room numbers etc) will be confirmed by the hotel latest by the 2nd week of June or earlier.

In the event the venue hotel is sold out, you will be notified during the registration process and alternate hotel arrangements will be suggested.
H3. Is there a way to check COneference registration and Hotel Reservation Online?

For Conference Registration Confirmation

The registration PDF file or the email confirmation that you have received are proof of your registration. If you have misplaced them or you have not received them for any reasons, you can go to the link below and put your first name,last Name, Zip code and email ID and if it matches with the one in our Database, we will recreate the completed registration form which you can save for your records.

For Hotel Reservation Confirmation

If you know your confirmation ID and want to retrieve the email confirmation the hotel sent you which has all the details of your Hotel Reservation, please click the link below. If you do not know your confirmation number, go to the link above and you can retireve the confirmation number of Hotel also by providing the details mentioned above. Then use that confirmation number in the Hotel site by clicking at the link below.

 
H4. Should I contact the hotel directly for my Hotel Registration?
No. Booking the hotel by calling the hotel directly may lead to hotel cancellation at a future date.
H5. Do I get an immediate confirmation if I register online?
Yes. We strongly recommend that you register online using CreditCard. If you do, you will get an automatic email confirming your registration with your Conference Registration ID. At this time no automatic email confirmation is sent when registering by check method as we need to receive the check.
H6. Is using Credit Card for online registration safe?
Yes. We use extremely secured 128 bit encryption technique to transmit sensitive information. You can see that our registration link changes to https:// as opposed to http:// when you go to online registration page. Also you can see our Digital Certificate if you wish to do so in the page where you provide the Credit Card information.
H7. Do you recommend we book hotel for Thursday June 29th or Sunday July 2nd,2006?
NABC will start on June 30th,2006 around 5:30 pm and there will be some late programs on Sunday past midnight. Keeping that in mind you can decide which is best for you.
H8. When will my Credit Card be charged for Hotel reservation purpose?
Your cerdit card will not be charged until you physically check in. It is needed to hold the room for you.
H9. Why do you ask for Credit Card when I use the check method?
This will be asked only when you request for Hotel reservation. The credit card is needed to hold the room for you. It will not be charged before you check in.
H10. Are there hotels other than Hilton Americas the venue hotel?

Yes. You can choose Three other Hotels with whom NABC2006 have negotiated better rates. For more info click the hotel links

H11. How can I cancel my Hotel registration, if it is necessary? Is there any fee?
Requests for refunds will be entertained till May 31st, 2006. A $25 cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be provided after May 31st.

H13. How much is the Hotel Tax?
The hotel tax is 17%.
H14. What category hotel is Hilton Americas?
It is a brand new 4 star Hotel.
H15. Will I always get the room I gave preference for while booking?
Every effort will be made to accommodate individual preferences. However, it is not guranteed. For example double bed rooms will be provided to families with kids as first preference in the event we have overbooking in that category.
H16. How many people can stay in one room ?
Four. The maximum occupancy per room is 4 adults rom the same family. If there is more people in your party you need to request for more than one room.
H17. In a double bed room what kind of beds are provided?
Double bed rooms have two double beds (2 adults can sleep in one bed).

Note that these are negotiated parking fees between NABC and the hotel and are substantially lower than the standard hotel rates.

H25. Can I register for the event and not book Hotel ?
Yes. Select No Hotel Needed under the Hotel Information Section.
H26. Can I book the hotel now and not register for the event?
No. The online system will allow you to book the hotel only after you register for the event.
H27. Can we bring in pets?
Yes. Pets are Allowed. Maximum size: Medium. Maximum weight: 40 lbs. Deposit: USD 25.00 Services: Non-refundable deposit
H28. Is there any kind of Shuttle service from Airport to Hotel?
